The Pastel Medium

These drawings were created over a period of several years, when I was driven to express myself in a visual way.

One of my preferred drawing mediums is oil pastel. They may be messy, but I can mix, fade, and otherwise blend colors to create explosive and dynamic pictures. Or I can make soft and subtle imagary. Either way pastels satisfy some sort of deep, visceral need within my artistic nature.
